Cat is a rehabilitation specialist physiotherapist who gained her MSc (pre-Reg) in Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2014 in addition to a first-class Honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation from the University of Salford in 2004. She has over seventeen years of experience working with musculoskeletal and traumatic injuries, with elite and amateur sports teams including international squads and full-time professional clubs, injured military personnel and also in private physiotherapy and injury clinics with clients from a non-sporting background.
Cat worked as an Exercise Rehabilitation instructor within the Complex Trauma team and the upper limbs team at DMRC Headley Court and later worked as a physiotherapist in the DMRC Lower Limbs team providing both exercise based rehabilitation and physiotherapy to patients with a wide range of conditions including elective and traumatic amputations, complex upper and lower limb musculoskeletal injuries including poly-trauma as well as exercise induced injuries.
Her varied background has resulted in considerable proficiency in the treatment of acute or chronic injury problems, post-surgery rehabilitation programming, rehabilitation for amputees and high-level trauma patients.
