Kim graduated as a physiotherapist in 2002 from the University of Hertfordshire and quickly specialised in neurology after completing all her core rotations. She has experience throughout the care pathway from acute care, rehabilitation units and long term rehabilitation in the community. She has worked amongst many specialist teams at Harrowlands (Dorking), Brain Injury Centre with the Queen Elizabeth Foundation (Banstead), National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (London) and for 8 years as Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at the Bradley unit (Woking). This role included being the physiotherapy injector with Botulinum Toxin for the Spasticity Management clinic working alongside Rehabilitation Consultants.
She utilises a wide range of skills to promote a goal-orientated 24-hour approach to rehabilitation, these include the Bobath Concept, splinting and casting and postural management. She has studied at MSc level and lectured at under-graduate and post-graduate level. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology (ACPIN).
