Jenny Woodgate

Jenny graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1997 with a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy. She developed a passion for neurology early in her career and has experience in acute, rehabilitation and the community setting in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

She started her career at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone where she achieved an excellent grounding in all areas of physiotherapy. She then worked as a locum for a couple of years in London before living and working in Australia and then New Zealand.

On returning to the UK, Jenny moved to the Brighton area and started to work for Worthing and Southlands Trust on the Neurology rotation. Since 2004 Jenny has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist and more recently as physiotherapy team leader at the Sussex Rehabilitation Unit in Haywards Heath, where she works with adults diagnosed with acquired neurological conditions.

Jenny has completed many professional courses including the 3 week Bobath course and she keeps up to date with local in-services and courses and is an active committee member of the local ACPIN group.

Jenny lives in Southwick with her husband and two children and is keen on promoting fitness and health for all. She loves her career as a Neurological Physiotherapist and enjoys the part she plays in helping clients to achieve their goals.
